Hays was engaging but he basically used the chapter "The Role of Scripture in Paul's Ethics" in his new book Converstion of the Imagination so you can read there what he said.

I didn't understand what you meant when you said you "finished tagging all of the MP3s of last year's ETS Conference lectures." Are those available somewhere on the net? I had to miss the Dunn/McKnight/Hagner/Evans session and would love to hear it. All the best. It would have been nice to meet you.

It's always awkward when a presentation turns into a date. I'm glad that you picked up a few listeners! I'm excited to hear your lecture (providing that the recording doesn't suck)!

Incidentally, congratulations on your publication in The Journal for the Study of the Historical Jesus!!!Sharad Yadavhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12150204571738424517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14966686.post-1137430506678383502006-01-16T09:55:00.000-07:002006-01-16T09:55:00.000-07:00When I started reading my paper the only persons i...When I started reading my paper the only persons in the Rome were myself and the moderator! I ordered 5 tapes from 2004 (?), with Hays, Wright, Moo and others--almost all of it was subpar in sound quality, and some of it never made it onto the recording at all. Either Hays let loose with a long string of Hauerwas-grade explitives, or they seriously need to upgrade their recording...J. B.
