It's kind of like the ball dropping in NYC along with the fireworks and shameless product placement all rolled up into one American New Year's experience.
I cried.
Happy New Years to you and yours Sharad! (a day late, but today is the federal holiday, so ...)
That is really some interesting art. Usually the returning Christ is just full of so much light that you can't make out any form, but that! well, that, just leaves me ... um ... speechless!

Thanks for the New Years greeting and chuckle!
Thanks Rose! I'm not sure where I found that picture, but it had to do in a pinch, as I was on my way to a New Year's Party when I posted it!
What up, Blue.
Nothing I say about that picture will top sameer's comment. So, I'm not going to say anything more about it. ;)
I look forward to all the thought-provoking Soylent Green postings to come in 2006. Keep up the good work.
Sincerely,
christy
New post! New post!
You got it, Rose! I've been busier lately, and I know my posting is sparse. I wish I could blog more often!
